Life's a box of chocolate!

Life is full of decisions to be made everyday!
It can be as simple or mundane as choosing and deciding what to wear out for the day, deciding the mode of transport for the fastest and shortest time to reach the destination, deciding what to eat, what to drink or if you should skip a meal to go on a diet.
Than there are the more complex decisions, decisions that may make or break you, decisions that you wish you had made earlier, decisions that left you regreting, decisions that you do not know how to break it to and in turn led yourself into a situation...
Since quitting my job last August, I have been freelancing and in this month, to upgrade myself and to make good use of the extra time I went on to acquire a new skill and knowledge in an advisory role. It had been most fufiling, something that I have had always looked forward to accomplishing it. I had a strong urge to educating and informing people, to emphasise the importance of protecting oneself financially so as not to burden the loved ones in times of need. I had geared myself towards embarking on this new advisory role.
Recently, through an ex-colleague, a job offer was made to me, an area where my years of experience and expertise gained in my previous employ can be tapped upon effectively. I had turned down the offer initially as I had wanted to concentrate on what I wanted to embarked on. However, a week later, they came back with a new offer indicating their sincerity and there lies my decision on the available options!
At this point in time, how do I decide between Reality (expenses had caught up faster than the income could make up for); or to go with my Interest (which would take me probably a year to gain a foothold)?
Anyone sane can see the obvious!
I wish, though, I can have the best of both...

Found this quote and I'd like to dedicate it to you, my friend..
"Life is a series of experiences, each one of which makes us bigger, even though it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and grieves which we endure help us in our marching onward." ~ Henry Ford (1863-1953) founder of Ford Motor Company
