For the first time since I've started out in my career as Financial Adviser, I can finally have a good rest during this Chinese New Year holiday break.

It may sound strange but this is the first time that I actually could rest my mind of work and since I'm yet an established adviser like those who's accumulated a steady stream of income, I have not reached that stage.

I am thankful that God has placed me in a great working environment and be with wonderful colleagues, amongst some of whom are Christians and we have started fellowshipping since the beginning of the year. I am blessed :)

Tomorrow will be a new day to the short work week after the long holiday break, and soon life will be back to the 'pressure cooker world'.

For all things coming my way this year, pray that I will continue to hold on to God's perspective on our work and life, and that I will be able to bring all my emotions, thoughts and actions back into alignment with Him so that His peace permeates my life. Amen.

And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

PS. and I'm referring to the popular Playstation. Almost everyone in my office has possesion of a PSP in Pink, White or Black.

This led me to think of the game stations my kids have from the generation of Sega to Playstation to PS2 than a brief switch to Xbox but Playstation 2 seems to be the popular one. And they are looking forward to getting a PS3.

I'm not an avid PS gamer but I do follow through with some..Final fantasy, Valkrie's Profile, Naruto, dotHack, Devil may Cry, Fatal Frame, the last is not a game to play at night if you want a good sleep.

Something that I've come to realise is that I never had the patience to carry on to finish a game, just as I seldom have the patience to complete a novel. Self reflection made me also realised that I have carried with me this bad habit into my work. I can start off all zest with plans and strategies put in place but somehow the execution just loose steam along the way if the project in my opinion drags on too long.

Well.. time to go finish my game now ;)
